Moscow Ballett la Classique – “Coppelia”

What’s happening: The greatest success of Russian theatre is undoubtedly classical ballet, an area in which Russian dancers (aided by some of the world’s greatest choreographers) have reigned supreme since the 1820′s. Coppélia is a classical ballet in three acts, originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-Léon for the Paris Opéra to a libretto in which he collaborated with Charles Nuitter, and set to music by Léo Delibes.
