Where’s it being held: Start: Halton Army Training Camp, Halton Road, Lancaster Carnforth

What’s happening: As last year the Lancaster Rotary club are running three cycle routes on the same day, all starting and finishing from the Halton Army Training camp. The main event is a true sportive challenge of 112 miles through North Lancashire and South Cumbria with Wrynose Pass in the middle. The Bay Dash is a shortened 62 mile version, but still a serious test using some of the same route. The third route is The Silverdale Sling, a very interesting course of 36 miles.

Elijah : Eversley Spring Concert

What’s happening: For their Spring Concert the renowned Eversley Choir will present Mendelssohn’s challenging Oratorio Elijah with full orchestra.
